We offer comprehensive eye examination on all optical and ophthalmic conditions and complaints.
Our team of doctors build a relationship with each patient to ensure premium service is delivered at every point.
During the examination, a concise history is taken. Questions about the eye complaint(s) are asked – onset, duration, precipitants, relieving factors, associated features (pain, redness, discharge, photophobia, etc). Past ophthalmic, medical, family, social, drug and allergy histories are noted.
Then, the vision is accurately measured, and eyes examined using specialized techniques. These include (but not limited to):
- Visual acuity (Distance, Near)- using specific charts. One eye is tested at a time.
- Tonometry using non-contact or applanation methods.
- Cover/uncover test (squint)
- Refraction
- Anterior segment examination using the pen light or Slit lamp biomicroscope.
- Swinging flashlight test (pupillary examination)
- Colour vision test- using specific charts.
- Fundoscopy- using the Ophthalmoscope or Slit lamp + Ancillary lens (e.g., 78D) or Binocular indirect ophthalmoscope. The pupils may be dilated (with eye drops) for a detailed fundal examination.
If required, special investigations can then be used to supplement kamagra oral jelly the findings of clinical examination.
